- I routinely run VC++ 4.0 on my 8 meg p90. It works pretty well,
- just expect a lot of swapping. So far, it has only crashed once
- for unkown reasons.
-
- I have gotten into the habit of compiling from the command line
- (I mainly write programs without MFC) this seems to be quicker.
-
- On a seperate note: I used to use gcc on OS/2 and gcc had an option
- to remain loaded in memory for x minutes to facilitate compiling
- a large number of files without having to reload the binary each
- time. Does the stand alone compiler for VC++ 4.0 have an option
- like this? (besides runing the Developers Environment).
